Day of Democracy to celebrate the signing of the Basic Law with a book presentation from 12.00 to 14.00 hours
on the importance of democratic development in the Bonn Republic and the contribution of the Kultkiosk.
Who better than the Bundesbüdchen, a historical testimony to the Bonn Republic, to promote the Day of Democracy. Professor Erdmann presented his new book ‘Das Bundesbüdchen – Symbol der Bonner Republik’.
The book could be purchased and signed on site. Professor Erdmann was available for in-depth discussions.
The Bundesbüdchen was open and the Mauel 1883 bakery gave away 75 vouchers for either a hot drink or a bockwurst with a roll to mark the special day.
The gifts were happily accepted and the bockwurst was visibly enjoyed.
