A piece of German history was kept alive on Friday. On the first day of the Bundesbüdchen, many citizens and guests celebrated the revitalisation of a unique landmark that breathes the spirit of the Bonn Republic like hardly any other place.

Between coffee and cake, musical entertainment and the raffle of an exclusive work of art, it became clear:

The Bundesbüdchen is not just a kiosk – it is a living monument that tells stories and connects generations.

The watercolour by the artist Norbert Bogusch from Wachtberg was donated for the raffle in aid of the association for the maintenance of the Bundesbüdchen.

The raffle ticket, which cost €3.00 each, was sold at the Bundesbüdchen.
